The Australian System of Tariff Preferences (ASTP) is Australia’s Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) scheme.
Under the ASTP, Australia provides varying preferential rates of customs duty to 179 countries and places where the goods are produced or manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Division 1A of Part VIII of the
Customs Act 1901.
