Australia-United States Defense Trade Cooperation Treaty

Regulation 3F of the Regulations provides an exemption for Australian Community members to obtain Ministerial permission to import Schedule 13 goods into Australia under the Australia-United States Defense Trade Cooperation Treaty (the Treaty).

To utilise the Treaty to import Schedule 13 weapons, the goods must be specified as eligible within the Treaty and imported for purposes specifically identified in the Treaty. Learn more about the Treaty.​
