  1. RACEANR messages will only be sent as a response to a RACEAN message that has been validated by the CCF.
  2. The ICS will always report the RACEAN Senders Reference and Version Number in the RACEANR message.
  3. RACEANR messages will indicate ICS acceptance, rejection or error conditions, at the line level for each line reported to the Department.
    1. Up to 50 errors will be reported in a single RACEANR.
    2. Messages containing any error will be rejected, and no ACEANs will be issued.
  4. Reported errors will include Error id; Error location and Error description.
  5. If messages relating to the same report are received out of sequence by the user (Message date/time stamp in the UNB segment), the message with the earlier date/time stamp should be rejected.
    1. If two messages have the same date/time stamp then the message arriving later should replace the earlier one.
  6. On rare occasions, RACEANR messages will be re-transmitted. Retransmissions will be issued with a new message date/time stamp in the UNB segment.
  7. An RACEANR will include a list of ACEANs equal to the number requested in the RACEAN message.
    1. The maximum number of ACEANs provided in a single RACEANR will be the least of:
      1. 9999 ACEANs or
      2. The maximum specified in the accredited client agreement.
  8. 8. RACEANR will report the total number of ACEANs issued by Customs against the reported RACEAN.
