Impending Arrival Report
Sea
Earliest: 10 days before estimated time of arrival.
Latest: If the voyage is longer than 96 hours, at least 96 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
Latest: If the voyage is less than 96 hours, at least 72 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
If the voyage is less than 72 hours, at least 48 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
If the voyage is less than 48 hours, at least 24 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
If the voyage is less than 24 hours, at least 12 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
Air
Earliest: 10 days before estimated time of arrival.
Latest: If flight more than 3 hours, then no later than 3 hours before estimated time of arrival.
Latest: If flight less than 3 hours, then no later then 1 hour before estiamted time of arrival.
Actual Arrival Report
Sea
no more than 24 hours after arrival (disregarding Sundays and holidays), or
before Certificate of Clearance issued whichever happens first.
Air
no more than 3 hours after arrival, or
before Certificate of Clearance issued whichever happens first.
Cargo Report
Sea
If the voyage is longer than 48 hours, at least 48 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
If the voyage is less than 48 hours, at least 24 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
If the voyage is less than 24 hours, at least 12 hours prior to arrival in the first Australian port.
Air
Electronic reports must be lodged at least 2 hours prior to arrival at the first Australian airport.
Manual reports must be lodged within 3 hours of arrival at the first Australia airport.
Outturn Report
Air CTOs
Within 24 hours of arrival of aircraft.
Sea Depots
For containerised cargo, if the container is not unpacked at Customs place within 24 hours of receiving container.
For containerised cargo, if the container is unpacked at Customs place, then within 24 hours of unpacking.
For non-containerised cargo then not later than the day after the day of receipt of the cargo.
Air Depots
Within 24 hours of arrival of aircraft.
Progressive Discharge Report
Sea
If containerised, then every 3 hours from commencement of discharge until unloading has been completed.
If non-containerised, then within 5 days after the day on which unloading from the ship was completed.
