DEPARR messages are sent by
the Department
to a depot nominated as the receiving premise for cargo.
DEPARR messages are generated when
The depot has been nominated on a warehouse or depot release notice.
The depot will need to lodge a DEPREC with
the Department
when the goods listed in the DEPARR is received.
The DEPARR will relate to a single CAN (CRN or EDN).
A DEPARR will provide details of the releasing premise (Establishment ID).
If messages relating to the same response are received out of sequence by the user (Message date/time stamp in the UNB segment), the message with the earlier date/time stamp should be rejected.
If two messages have the same date/time stamp then the message arriving later should replace the earlier one.
