You cannot make TRS claims on domestic flights or at domestic terminals. You can only claim at your final departure point from Australia (this may be different to where you originally boarded your aircraft or cruise ship)
If you have a domestic flight before your international flight and have restricted or oversized goods, check if your carrier can arrange to have your goods ready to inspect at your international departure port.
You will need to:
- Collect your luggage at the domestic terminal
- Transfer to the international terminal
- Present your restricted/oversized goods at the ABF Client Services office for verification
- Check-in for your international flight
- Clear passport control; then
- Proceed to the TRS Facility to make your claim. See
Making a claim.
