The Australian Border Force has two entry-level programs). The Border Force Officer Recruit (BFORT) program is our entry level program to prepare you for a career in the ABF. For sea going roles on our ABF vessels, we have the entry-level Marine Tactical Officer (MTO) program.

Border Force Officer Recruit (BFORT) program
The Border Force Officer Recruit Training (BFORT) program comprises up to 12 months training.
